Editorial policy
FastWindowTimer is committed to accurate, well-sourced content that stays within clear boundaries. This page explains how we research and write content, how we handle corrections, and who is responsible for what.
How we source content
Health and fasting content is sourced from peer-reviewed research, clinical-institution guidance (NIH, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Harvard Health), and registered-dietitian bodies. We link to primary sources where possible and prefer recent systematic reviews. We do not cite press releases or supplement-brand content as authoritative sources.
Review cadence
Content is reviewed at least annually, or sooner if a significant new finding contradicts existing copy. The last-reviewed date appears on each page. At this stage, content is reviewed by the FastWindowTimer editorial team — we do not yet have a named clinical reviewer. We will update attribution clearly when a credentialed reviewer joins.
Authorship and medical review
Content is authored and reviewed by the FastWindowTimer editorial team as an organisation. We do not imply that any content has been medically reviewed by a named clinician until a named reviewer is publicly identified. Health claims are kept conservative and heavily cited accordingly.
Corrections
If you spot an error — factual, medical, or otherwise — please contact us. We correct errors promptly, note the correction inline, and update the reviewed date. We do not silently delete content that was wrong; we correct and disclose.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are independent of any advertising or affiliate arrangements. If ads or affiliate links are added in future, we will update this policy, disclose the arrangement clearly, and — where required by law — implement a compliant consent flow before any ad loads.
